Buckinghamshire Council is considering re-opening Bledlow Tip

We’re considering plans to reopen the Household Recycling Centre in Bledlow, which was closed in 2019 by the former Buckinghamshire County Council. The decision was made to close the HRC in order to balance the Council’s budget at the time. The new unitary council is now in a position to consider reopening the HRC. The option to reopen will be discussed at a Cabinet meeting on 13th September and the papers for the meeting are now available to view online: https://crowd.in/xvuzOQ The papers include details on the proposed charging arrangements for the HRC. The recommendation is that the HRC will be free to use for Buckinghamshire residents, with the exception of chargeable waste, in line with other Buckinghamshire Council run HRCs.
